Chief investigator Moroboshi of the Hokkaido Prefectural Police Department is arrested and convicted of drug and gun possession. It turns out that this is not a simple crime, and the trial brings forth scandals of fake investigations and false evidence of gun possession by the Hokkaido Police Department that lead to the exposure of the Department's bribery case.
Shiraishi Kazuya made his directorial debut, Lost Paradise in Tokyo, which competed for the New Current Awards at the Busan in 2009. His second feature, The Devil's Path, received three nominations at the Japanese Academy Awards.
