The Last Moose of Aoluguya
The moose of the Daxinganling mountains live in northeast China although their habitat is disappearing. The Ewenki tribe is forced to abandon their homes. Weijia, an Ewenki nicknamed "moose", is unable to hunt so he drinks and tells stories of his vanishing culture. After moving to his girlfriend's in the south, he fails to quit alcohol and to return home.

GU Tao
GU Tao was born in the inner mongolia Autonomous Region in 1970. in 2005, he began working on documentary films, starting with Aoluguya, Aoluguya…. His Yuguo and His Mother was awarded the Ogawa Shinsuke Prize at the 2011 Yamagada Film Festival.
