Painted Skin: The Resurrection

Xiaowei, a fox spirit, has been imprisoned for centuries and her sheer will to survive moves the bird spirit who rescues her. Xiaowei faces two choices – to experience true death or to become truly human. She consumes a stranger’s heart and transforms herself into a beautiful seductress. But she doesn’t know the stranger is the Prince of Tian Lang Kingdom.



Wuershan

Wuershan directed his debut, Soap Opera, which won the FIPRESCI Award at the 2004 Busan. In 2012, Painted Skin: The Resurrection made 6 million RMB at the box-office and was nominated for Best Visual Effects at the 2012 Golden Horse Awards.
