Hou Chi-jan, a Taiwanese director and screenwriter, made his feature debut with One Day, which premiered at the Berlinale. Both his One Day and When a Wolf Falls in Love with a Sheep earned the Golden Horse Awards nominations. In 2014, he began filming the documentary project Poetries from the Bookstores.
