A manager on a business trip is intrigued by an elderly worker and investigates his life. A young father receives a letter that brings him to a foreign land. A visiting professor from overseas sets a student's heart fluttering. Different characters, different relationships, the same humanity; stories about the distances between us and how we live with them.

TAN Shijie
TAN Shi-jie studied at New York University's Tisch Asia School. His short films have competed at various film festivals, including Venice and Clermont-Ferrand.
XIN Yukun

Xin Yukun, born in 1984, graduated in Cinematography from Beijing Film Academy. His debut feature, The Coffin in the Mountain, was nominated for Best Original Screenplay and Best New Director at the Golden Horse Awards 2014.

Sivaroj KONGSAKUL

Sivaroj Kongsakul is a Thai director born in 1980. His debut feature, Eternity, won several international awards, including the Tiger Award at Rotterdam. In 2015, he co-directed Distance, the opening film of the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival. Regretfully at Dawn is Kongsakul's sophomore feature.
