That Day, on the Beach
Two friends who haven't seen each other for thirteen years reunite. One is a successful concert pianist who just comes back to Taiwan from an European tour. The other is the sister of her ex-boyfriend who gives her a detailed account of what has happened during those years.

Edward YANG

Edward Yang was a leading figure in the Taiwanese New Wave. He was best known for Mahjong, which competed at Berlinale 1996, A Confucian Confusion and Yi Yi: A One and A Two, both competed at Cannes and the latter won Best Director.
