Journey to the Shore
Mizuki's husband, Yusuke, drowned at sea three years ago. When he suddenly comes back home, she is not that surprised. Instead, Mizuki is wondering what took him so long. She agrees to let Yusuke take her on a journey.

Born in 1955, Kurosawa Kiyoshi made his feature debut in 1983 with Kandagawa Pervert Wars. A regular at top international festivals, his other noted works include Cure, Bright Future, Tokyo Sonata, Daguerrotype, and Wife of a Spy, which won Best Director at Venice in 2020. Cloud, his latest film, premiered at Venice 2024.
