MATSUI Daigo

Born in 1985 and founder of the theater group Gojigen, Matsui Daigo made his feature film directorial debut with Afro Tanaka. He gained international acclaim with Wonderful World End, screened at the Berlinale, and Just Remembering, which won the Audience Award and a Special Mention at the Tokyo IFF. His diverse filmography includes Our Huff and Puff Journey, Japanese Girls Never Die, Hand, and Rewrite.
