A film in praise of life. After the earthquake that shook northern Iran in 1970, a father and a son set out to find out about the fates of the two young actors of the film, Where Is the Friend's Home? In the boys' hometown, despite the destruction, the visitors discover that life goes on in all its splendour.

Abbas Kiarostami (1940-2016) was an influential Iranian film director, screenwriter, photographer and film producer. An active filmmaker from 1970, Kiarostami had been involved in over forty films. His 1997 film, Taste of Cherry, won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes. |
