24 Frames is an experimental project made by filmmaker Abbas Kiarostami in the last three years of his life. It is a collection of 24 four-and-a-half-minute films inspired by still images, including paintings and photographs.

Abbas Kiarostami (1940-2016) was an influential Iranian film director, screenwriter, photographer and film producer. An active filmmaker from 1970, Kiarostami had been involved in over forty films. His 1997 film, Taste of Cherry, won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes. |
