South of France. Present day. Jean, an actor caught up in the past, settles himself in an abandoned house where Juliette, the great love of his life, once lived. A group of young apprentice filmmakers discover the same house - the perfect set to shoot their next homemade horror movie. Jean and the children will come face to face, sooner or later.

Suwa Nobuhiro was born in Hiroshima in 1960. After graduating from Tokyo Zokei University, Suwa began directing documentaries for television. In 1996, he made his feature debut 2/Duo, which won the NETPAC Award at the Rotterdam 1997. It was followed by M/Other, which was awarded the FIPRESCI Prize at the Cannes 1999. In 2005, Suwa wrote and directed A Perfect Couple with a French cast and crew, and the film was in competition at the Locarno. |
