Autumn Sonata

After having neglected her children for many years, world-renowned pianist Charlotte visits her married daughter Eva at the parsonage by the lake. To her surprise, Charlotte finds her other daughter Helena there as well. Helena is mentally disabled and institutionalized by Charlotte until Eva took her out. The tension between Charlotte and Eva builds up slowly, until a nightly conversation releases all the things they have suspected, worried and wanted to tell each other.
