In Ten Years Taiwan, environmental disasters loom as the island's indigenous people and immigrant workers are systematically exploited. Moreover, the loss of culture and dropping birth rate have made the islanders escape from the reality at an unprecedented scale.



LAU Kek-huat

Lau Kek-huat is a Malaysia-born filmmaker based in Taiwan. His debut feature, Boluomi, was nominated Best New Director at the Golden Horse Awards 2019. From Island to Island won the Taipei Film Award Grand Prize 2024.

Rina B. TSOU

Rina Tsou's Arnie, was selected for the Critics' Week and nominated for Best Short Film at the Golden Horse Awards in 2016.

HSIEH Pei-ju

Hsieh Pei-ju earned an MFA from Columbia University. Her feature debut, Heavy Craving, won Best New Talent at the Taipei Film Awards and the Audience Choice Award in the International New Talent Competition at the 2019 Taipei Film Festival.

Lekal Sumi Cilangasan

Lekal Sumi co-wrote Wawa No Cidal, which received several nominations at the 2015 Golden Horse Awards, including Best Adapted Screenplay.

LU Po-shun

Lu Po-shun's short film, Wild Tides, won the Grand Prize (student group) at the 2017 Taiwan Golden Harvest Awards.
