The Women's Revenge
In the early 1980s before the lifting of martial law, numerous so-called female revenge / exploitation films were produced in Taiwan. The 2020 version is based on the old genre to recreate a fantasy of bloody revenge.

Su Hui-yu obtained his MFA from TNUA in 2003 and has remained active in the contemporary art scene. His "Re-shooting" series centres on Taiwanese and East Asian history, memory, re-imagination, and transgression. The Trio Hall, his second feature, was selected for the Forum section at the 2025 Berlinale. |
