Based on dancer Sheu Fang-yi's semi-autobiography, Salute depicts four periods in her career. Sheu has choreographed thirteen modern dances that embody her great achievements in the past two decades. Now she bids farewell to her past with a funeral and heads towards an unknown future. With dual narratives, Salute blurs the boundaries between fictional, experimental and factual films.
