Béla Tarr, a prominent Hungarian auteur, directed his first feature, Family Nest, at the age of twenty-two before attending film school. His film The Turin Horse won the Berlinale Grand Jury Prize and the FIPRESCI Prize. Tarr has received numerous international awards and several lifetime achievement recognitions throughout his career. |
