Jinsei
The story portrays the intriguing yet sorrowful life of a bullied boy who, after a chance encounter with a transfer student, dreams of becoming an idol like his late father. A fantastic journey unfolds, with a view no one has ever seen. Set against social issues such as show biz's darker sides, youth deaths, and war, Suzuki Ryuya single-handedly created this lo-fi, visionary work of striking originality.
