Haruko and Mikio are a loving married couple. Haruko tends to be pessimistic and lazy, and relies on Mikio to support her while she lives a happy-go-lucky life drawing comics that don't sell. Mikio is a serious businessman who warmly watches over his wife. However, when Mikio comes down with depression, the balance in their relationship begins to shift.



SASABE Kiyoshi
SASABE Kiyoshi was born in 1958. He began working as an assistant director in film and television in 1984. His Half of a Confession won Best Film at the Japanese Academy and he was nominated for Best Director in 2005.
