Three strange stories intertwine, into an incredible tale... "The Line of Fortune": Cai gets rich through his new scam - a hotline which gives out lottery numbers, underlined with a scare tactic: Those who win the lottery prize are required to make a "donation". Those who refuse to 'donate' will be cursed with bad luck. One day, Cai receives a phone call, awarding him lucky lottery numbers, but promises Cai a tragic death if he makes no donation when he wins. Believing this is a copycat of his own scam, Cai ignores all warnings and keeps all his winnings. A series of horrifying events ensue… "Coming Home": Yan goes on a 2 week business trip. She seeks ex-husband Wayne's help to care for their young son Shaun, when she can't get a babysitter. When Yan returns from her trip, she is shocked to learn that Wayne has died in a hit-and-run accident two weeks previously! An accident that, uncannily, took place in the same location as her own accident prior to her trip. But who is the 'Wayne' that has supposedly been looking after Shaun? Two highly read blog entries - "The Line of Fortune" and "Coming Home", written by Rain and Angel, respectively, battle in the blog world, to reach new heights in popularity. Rain receives an anonymous email; to make her the number one blogger, which she accepts. Predictions about Rain's 'alternative' future, mysteriously begin to appear in her blog. As the readership increases, Rain becomes more terrified, especially as the latest prediction is of her own death. What can she do?
