2020 marks the centennial of the birth for Italian film director Federico Fellini (1920-1993). Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival Executive Committee joins the global retrospective project Fellini 100 and proudly presents the 2020 Golden Horse Classic Film Festival: Fellini 100, held in Taipei from July 24th to August 13th  with 24 films directed by Fellini. We cordially invite the cinephiles to seize this rare opportunity to explore his unfettered cinematic universe on the big screen.

Compared to the previous Ingmar Bergman: The Centennial Retrospective in 2018, it is surely more difficult to bring about Fellini 100. After intensive communication and collaboration with Istituto Luce Cinecittà (Rome), Cineteca di Bologna and Cineteca Nazionale and other institutions, the Committee finally makes possible the screenings of all 24 films directed by Fellini, with the majority of them being stunning 4K restorations.
