Ang LEE as the Jury President for the 60th Golden Horse Awards
|
2023-09-26 |
On the 60th day count-down to the highly anticipated 60th Golden Horse Awards, the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival (TGHFF) announced that Ang LEE will be this year’s President for the Jury.
Ang noted that, when fulfilling the duty of the jury, he would apprehend these films with extra concentration. It is not “judging” a film, but rather a heart-to-heart communication with them. Only if the jury immerse themselves wholeheartedly into the core of the films and think thoroughly before making choices, can the jury live up to the dedication of these filmmakers. He looks forward to joining the jury for inspirational discussions. “See you all at the 60th Golden Horse Awards!”, Ang says.
