Network for Promotion of Asian Cinema(NETPAC)

Network for Promotion of Asian Cinema (NETPAC) is an international organization established in 1990 to promote Asian cinema. It has collaborated with over thirty international film festivals to present NETPAC Award in recognition of best Asian film. Starting from 2007, Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival has added NETPAC Award to encourage emerging Asian director; selected feature films by Asian new talent are eligible for this award.

Mara Matta

Mara Matta holds a Ph.D. in South and East Asian studies, and teaches Modern Literatures of the Indian Subcontinent in university. She also works on writings and cultural productions by South Asian migrants in Italy. Her interest in theatre and cinema as tools of social change has led her to meet different theatre activists and filmmakers in India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Italy and UK.

 

Jinna Lee 

Jinna Lee is a programmer at Busan International Short Film Festival and International Intangible Heritage Film Festival. She has worked at Jeonju International Film Festival, Jecheon International Music and Film Festival and DMZ International Documentary Film Festival. Currently working as an adviser for small festivals in Korea and lecturing in the universities.

 

Youth Alphonse Leigh

Youth Alphonse Leigh (aka Alphonse Perroquet/Parrot Caille/Quail Youth-Leigh) is the author of Resnais, Fellini… Mes prefers. He appeared in Tsai Ming-liang’s films What Time Is It There? and Goodbye, Dragon Inn and received Outstanding Contribution Award from Taipei Film Festival in 2011.
