Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival Executive Committee announced today (Oct 15) the heavyweight presenter at the 54th Golden Horse Awards: Jessica Chastain. As the International Brand Ambassador for Piaget, Chastain will attend the awarding ceremony as the prestigious Piaget Ambassador.

Jessica Chastain has proved herself to be one of the most versatile and skillful actresses with a diversity of roles. She has earned two nominations from the Academy Awards with Zero Dark Thirty (2012) for Best Leading Actress and The Help (2011) for Best Supporting Actress; the former also won her the Golden Globe Awards for Best Performance by an Actress. Chastain also delivered multiple critically acclaimed performances in The Tree of Life (2011), The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby (2013), Interstellar (2014), The Martian (2015), and Miss Sloane (2016) and was invited as Jury member at 2017 Cannes Film Festival. Her latest performance in Molly’s Game (2017) will likely earn her another nod at the Academy Awards. This will be Chastain’s first-ever visit to Taiwan.

The 54th Golden Horse Awards Ceremony will be held on November 25th at National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Taipei, Taiwan. For audience in Taiwan, TTV will live-broadcast the ceremony and red carpet in HD format, while online streaming exclusively on friDay.
