The 55th Golden Horse Awards, the Golden Horse Film Project Promotion, and the Golden Horse Film Academy call for submission, starting from July the 2nd.

Since its establishment in 1962, the Golden Horse Awards not only has the longest history in Chinese-language cinema, but is also considered the highest honor and accolade for filmmakers. One of the main goals of the Awards is to promote the Chinese-language cinema and to increase its international visibility.

Therefore, we are delighted to announce that the future winners of Best Documentary at the Golden Horse Awards, will automatically become eligible contenders for consideration at the Academy Awards.

Submissions for these competition and events all begin from July the 2nd and end by July the 31st. The Golden Horse Film Festival also calls for entry, including feature-length films and Taiwan short films.
